Emerging Artist Initiative (EAI) formed in response to the widespread devastation that COVID-19 brought on the the arts and culture sector. The team of young arts professionals formed the Emerging Artist Relief Fund, a national fund to address the immediate financial needs of young and emerging artists and arts administrators. The application closed on July 23 with over 1,700 submissions, and the EAI team continues to fundraise for the Emerging Artist Relief Fund.
