Emerson Brooks ("EBA") was a professional technical/financial search firm, foundedin the mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles, CA in 1989. After many successful placements and growth, the firm folded in March 1993 and wasreborn the next day under new ownership out of Encino, an LA suburb.Then, it migrated up to Sun Valley, Idaho in 1996 and then folded many years later...thistime permanently, in 2003. The company focused on placing software engineersand financial experts in Silicon Valley as well as Los Angeles. The firm provedto be an exceptional training ground for some of the best TechnicalRecruiters who are still in operation today. One of these employees was Patrick Ross, who left to form Terran Systems. EBA therefore lives on in the halls of Terran Systems today. Still...may Silicon Valley, the stateof California, and the high tech industry always remember Emerson Brooks.
