Emet Christian Academy has been the joint venture of Erin Ferguson, M.Ed. and her father Armon D. Siemsen, PhD. Mrs. Ferguson caught her father's vision, which began in the early 1960's while studying at UCLA and grew while teaching in Seoul, S. Korea and Ukarumpa, Papua New Guinea. Since completing his dissertation on developing an integrated curriculum for international Christian schools in 1981, Dr. Siemsen has worked in his spare time, putting his dream of a school on paper. ECA is the culmination of over 40 years of teaching and administration experience, student teaching supervision, many visits to foreign and international schools and curriculum development.
