emilie inc. photography is a wedding photojournalism studio based in the Portland, Maine, area founded in 2003 by owner photographer Emilie Sommer. Emilie has photographed hundreds of weddings and garnered local and national attention for her imagery, recognizable brand and reputation for providing first class quality service. She earned a degree in photojournalism from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University and worked as a photographer and photo editor for USA Today and the Washington Post in Washington, DC, before moving to Maine. The emilie inc. studio currently comprises of Emilie, five contract photographers, a studio manager, a graphic designer and a production manager.
