As the world becomes increasingly crowded so do the number of companies that provide us with our daily needs. Permits that state the rules must be engaged and are required in order to operate a factory or plant. Companies also have to minimize their load on the environment. Complaints disrupt a good relationship with their environment and lead to a bad image and reputation compromising the company's chances for a permit renewal.Emis Group created inose, a Gas Dispersion Monitoring System, to provide environmental solutions for companies with these issues. The computational model, used by inose, uses substance properties, like odour and other concentrations, which are entered beforehand only once and are used during the calculation and visualization. Only by using inose, a company can obtain a clear insight in their (future) odour and gas dispersion over the surroundings. A permanent connection with the most current weather forecasts and readings, makes such an insight possible.
