EMISA is a unique non-profit business association, representing independent manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers in the marine engine (after)market. The Association's underlying fundamental purpose is the promotion of free and fair competition in the supply chain for existing marine equipment including all aspects of service and maintenance work.EMISA continues to expand its network, working towards a regulatory framework that supports our aims:• Free access to the market.• Fair competition.• Innovation to ensure long term sustainable transport solutions.We work with the IMO, EU and other organisations on matters such as digitisation, big data and privacy and how it could affect independent companies, while providing our expertise on Competition, Privacy and IP related legal issues.
