We are a group of young Indians striving to fulfil the imperative need to generalise mental health globally. Our approach towards normality and freedom is profound, idealistic as well as rational.The opaque expanse of ‘Emotions' has been very personally engrossing for all of us, and to create something for it, has just been a classic case of ‘from vision to reality'.We named ourselves Emojar to widen the significance of ‘Emo'tions in this consumeristic generation. The ‘Jar' in our name signifies the human mind full of dynamic and distinct emotions.Our diligent team includes Dr Ria Das (founder) who is a Counselling psychologist with twelve years of experience in the field, a certified Art and Play therapist and a gold medalist; Atri Das (Editor In Chief) is a psychology and literature enthusiast and a Medha Samman Winner; Tista Banerjee (Editor In Chief), a budding psychologist whose creative flair of writing makes her stand out from the rest and Roshmija Biswas (Creative Head), a gifted illustrator who is the creative and aesthetic pillar of this company.We are blessed to have the ability to intrigue citizens globally to attend our extensive workshops on Art and Play therapy, which has been our niche since the beginning. In future, we plan to shift to offline workshops and online therapy while seeing ourselves inaugurating a mental health clinic and staying connected to our roots and continue holding workshops on different aspects of the subject.We team Emojar, always want to be known as people who worked with their hearts not their minds and as responsible and altruistic citizens who did their best to incapacitate the stigma attached to mental health, not just nationally but globally. For this, we are grateful to each and every member of this company including our leads and interns who contribute densely to make our vision perceivable in reality, without them this Sunday night's overthinking would never turn into a full fledged reality.
