Empirical Testing and Inspection, LLC was formed in October 2018 to fill a need in the local market for thorough visual welding inspection training per SNT-TC-1A company nondestructive testing certification programs, welding inspection, welder qualification testing, welder training, inspector training, structural bolting inspection, coatings inspection, as well as general contract verification oversight and consulting.Since beginning operations ETI, LLC has been involved in working with a local civil engineering firm to offer construction inspections. We are in the process of developing custom visual inspection certification courses for company certification programs and helping companies develop their written practice for the certification and qualification of nondestructive testing personnel.ETI's Visual Inspection level I and II classes are designed to meet or exceed the requirements of the company's written practice and instruct the trainees to interpret the specification requirements, verify the project mets those requirements and create the necessary documentation for the company's quality control program records.The class will include the proper use of gauges required to do the inspections such as fillet, bridge cam, VWAC, and high/low gauges as required for the types of work performed by the company.
