Empower Mali is a US-based nonprofit foundation, established to work directly with citizens and local leaders in Mali, West Africa to improve access to education, healthcare, basic amenities and leadership training. Empower Mali believes that the citizens and communities of Mali have the right to become self-reliant and break the cycle of poverty that has affected them for generations. We work to form a close partnership with the citizens of Mali and Malian government officials believing no one best knows the needs than the community we serve. We also focus on training leaders in these communities so the effect of our projects become long term and self-sustainable.
