Machinery - Saverne, Grand Est, France
It was in the 1950s, in Saverne, Alsace, that the company EMS (for Electro Mecano Saverne) was born. At the origin of the activity is the rewinding of all types of electric motors. Based on this experience, the company did not take long to offer its own electric motors, then to develop DC motors for hydraulic groups of industrial presses. The company therefore developed engines and presses in parallel for a few years before splitting into two separate entities in the 1990s to better refocus. EMS Concept was born. Today, the company still designs DC electric motors to power air compressors and hydraulic units. Its products are found in trains, trams, dump trucks, ship rudders, agricultural machinery... The applications are numerous and the know-how of the 35 people working every day in Saverne, the company's birthplace, is no longer to be proven!
