Enactus is an international nonprofit organization ( www.enactus.org ) dedicated to inspiring students to improve the world through entrepreneurial action. Enactus operates in 36 countries with the involvement of 1700+ university campuses engaging 69,000+ students.Enactus IIT Madras is one of the chapters of global Enactus network based out of Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Our intended beneficiaries (rural Tamil Nadu) do not have access to safe drinking water as per WHO Standards with unaffordable commercial water purifiers. We empower potter communities in rural Tamil Nadu with a low-cost ceramic water filter technology. These features ensure sustained purchase orders while solving the potable water crisis.
