The Endoscopy Centre at The Princess Grace Hospital offers a full range of endoscopic services designed to combine a caring environment with modern high-technology facilities for outpatients and inpatients. A full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are performed in the centre, including Gastroscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), Capsule Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy and Cystoscopy, making it one of the best equipped in London. The unit comprises of two procedures rooms, one of which is lead lined. X-ray facilities enable the Consultants to carry out therapeutic procedures such as oesophageal and colorectal stenting as well as ERCP. The recovery area has seven bays, all of which are fitted with oxygen and suction. Each of the patient trolleys are equipped with individual patient monitors. State of the art equipment, specialist endoscopy nurses and on-site decontamination facilities contribute towards a first rate facility within The Princess Grace Hospital for all patients.
