Karl Justin is the principal partner of ECS Arizona, a company specializing in commissioning and programming new lighting and lighting control technologies. He has more than 30 years experience in implementing energy efficiency strategies in residential, commercial and industrial buildings, and now focuses on upgrading lighting technologies in existing buildings.Since 1994, he has had the Arizona Electrical Contractor's License, in good standing. 1997 through 1999, he was certified for various lighting controls. He received his CEM (Certified Energy Manager) certification in December 2009, CLEP (Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional) certification in March 2013 and CDSM (Certified Demand-Side Management Professional) in December 2013. He is member of the AEE (Association of Energy Engineers), as well as, the local USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) chapter.
