Energy Raters, Inc is a certified independent HERS Rater. We perform all required HERS Measures in accordance with state protocols. The diagnostic testing and field verification Energy Raters, Inc. conducts on any new or altered HVAC Space Conditioning System are Total Duct Leakage, Minimum Cooling Coil Airflow, Fan Efficacy and Refrigerant Charge Verification. The results from the inspection will be entered into the HERS Provider's State Registry (CalCERTS, Inc.) If all required HERS measures meet Title 24 part 6 – Energy Efficiency Standards a CF3R Compliance Form will be generated for the Homeowner's project.Energy Raters, Inc. is also certified to perform the required home energy audit needed for processing an energy efficient mortgage. This special loan program allows new home buyers to roll energy efficient upgrades into their monthly loan payments.
