The Energy Storage Partnership (ESP), convened by the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) , brings together over 30 international organizations to help develop safe, sustainable energy storage solutions tailored to the needs of developing countries.By connecting stakeholders and sharing international experiences in deploying energy storage solutions around the world, the ESP helps bring new technological, regulatory, and capacity building solutions to developing countries, as well as developing new business models that leverage the full range of services that storage can provide. Taking a technology-neutral approach, ESP is helping to expand the global market for energy storage, leading to technology improvements, more integration of renewable energy, and accelerating cost reductions over time.
