In 1995 Thomas Engels, who was chief development officer at Mannesmann Group, left the concern to set up his own company, which would act as a future sub-contractor to Mannesmann. His goals were development, setup and operation of distributed, production-related hardware and software systems. The cooperation with the Mannesmann Group was successful and the growing Engels Company was reorganized into a Engels Informatik GmbH (Ltd) in 1999.The systems designed and installed by Engels Informatik GmbH are directly incorporated into our customers' production processes, and therefore we apply highest standards in a secure, 24/7 production environment.
