Our History: Engenhar-MEC emerged in 2019, in room PG 14, Block IV of the Mechanical Engineering Department at UFPR. The program was founded by Professor Sérgio Fernando Lajarin, with the aim of bringing together and training undergraduate students, and meets the needs of the internal and external community at the university. One of our goals is to empower students by offering short courses that enhance the use of various softwares used in academia. In addition, we seek to encourage the creation of academics with the development of new models and projects that meet the demands of society. Thus, the program focuses on training and manufacturing, turning projects and creations into reality, with an emphasis on additive manufacturing, or 3D printing.Mission: Engenhar-MEC was created to provide students with a practical and theoretical experience with the aid of short courses and project development, in order to transform learning into different ways of contributing to society.Values: Work with excellence; Dedication and commitment; Trained members; Professionalism and ethics; Constant search for innovation; Solidarity and respect for others; Involvement with social issues.
