The Engineering Leadership Council of Notre Dame is a student-run organization whose purpose is to serve the student body of the College of Engineering. The ELC acts as an umbrella organization for all student groups within the College, and aims to promote unity among these varied student interests. The ELC regularly interacts with College leadership and administration to provide opportunities related to professional development, community outreach, and social engagement. The ELC is tasked with planning Engineering Industry Day (EID) each fall and Engineering Week events each spring, as well as Welcome Weekend, Early Admit Days, and other on-campus events. We are a recognized member of the National Association of Engineering Student Councils (NAESC), and each spring, we send representatives to NAESC's national leadership conference to vote on behalf of our council, to discuss council improvements and event possibilities with other councils from across the country, and to participate in professional development activities. NAESC's "Engineering Leadership Summit" was held from March 23-24, 2018 at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Look for pictures and event recaps coming soon to our site!
