The creation of English Helpline is the brainchild of more of a sense of unique creativity derived from the core of earnest desire of a missionary vision to set a new standard of value-based education in this world by fine-tuning human qualities than an individual endeavor. The noble idea caught the mind was conceived for quite some time and translated into action.Its actual birth took place at Girish Park at stone's throw distance from Rabindra Bharati University where Kavi Guru Rabindranath Tagore visualized his literary dream of oriental art and culture. Throughout the day classes were used to be held at founder's small home at Girish Park.People from various walks of life used to assemble there to learn English from morning to night.Later it was the 1st June 2007English Helpline was founded by Sujit Kumar Chatterjee at 12CAmrit Lal Bose Street Kolkata-700005 near Shovabazar a place of historical importance as an integral part of city Calcutta was established by Jobe Charnock in 1690 .The site of the Institute is so located as to access to it conveniently from different regions of the city.At present Mr.Chatterjee IAF (Retd) is the Director of this noble Institute. He is being constantly assisted in this noble mission by a group of high-profile teachers eminent Professors and prudent counselors.
