The Computer Science Department of Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women has paved its path towards preparing students to work in all areas of industry, research, and academia. It offers extensive facilities for teaching, learning and research. Eniac, the department Society organizes its technical fest "Tech Melange" every year. It introduces an element of competition in technology, making it an adventurous ride of coding, technical tools, quizzes, brainstorming games and ideas organized with great zeal by the students. The Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) chapter in SRCASW aims to help university students broaden their knowledge about world-class technology curricula with an objective of applying the learning to build projects that can combat real world problems using technology, enhancing technological skills and work collaboratively.To give an insight to students the department has organized multiple webinars/activities to explore the different interesting fields of Computer Science with IT professionals, professors as well as esteemed alumni of the college.With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the Department has produced quality professionals holding important positions in the IT industry in India and abroad.
