Enlighten Solar Inc. (ESI) is a solar power developer helping commercial building owners in Southern Ontario see income from a previously unutilised asset—their roof space. The Ontario Power Authority has recently announced the Feed-in-Tariff program to promote rooftop renewable energy projects to help reduce Ontario's Carbon Footprint and promote the development of the local renewable energy industry. Ontario has an ambitious mandate to close down all coal-based power plants by 2014, and to help achieve that goal that they are paying a premium for electricity generated using "green" technologies. Enlighten seeks to simplify the process and offer clear solutions allowing our customers to make money while simultaneously reducing their own environmental footprint.
