ENRGeo is a new technology company based in London (UK) which is applying artificial intelligence "AI" to automate and advance industrial geoscientific technology and research. Our focus is the natural resources industry. ENRGeo is partnering with leading industrial geoscience businesses, top ranked British universities and technology companies to develop a new generation of geoscience software. Our technology will enable faster, cheaper and more accurate exploration for natural resources, the development of faster, cheaper and more accurate predictive earth models, and new insights into how our earth works. ENRGeo's first goal is to revolutionise petroleum geosciences through the development of advanced oil & gas exploration technology and the creation of APRAIS™ (Automated.Prospect.Recognition.AI.System) – ENRGeo's "AI Brain for the Geosciences". APRAIS will enable automated prospect portfolio generation and ranking for the oil & gas industry. This will include integrating all relevant seismic data, non-seismic, well logs, geochemistry and other geological inputs to maximise the value of all data inputs while minimising the cost and time taken to find hydrocarbons. AI and intelligent systems are having an unprecedented impact on the way that we live and work. PwC estimates this market to be worth more than US$14 trillion by 2030. McKinsey estimates advanced oil & gas extraction to be worth US$500 Billion by 2025. ENRGeo will follow APRAIS with a focus on the mining industry and ore body identification, and also potential application to sensor-based ore sorting.ENRGeo has a world class AI and oil & gas team sourced from industry, technology and academia, including Tullow Oil, MIT, UCL and Imperial College London.
