Ensemblex is a group of lending experts formed to create a boutique consulting company for financial services. We have managed large P&Ls ($1+ billion) at Capital One and grew successful fintech lending businesses ($100 million) at ZestFinance. We have consulted with lenders of all sizes and asset classes (credit card, auto, personal loans, small business) in the US and across the globe.We are experienced, curious, and data-driven. We identify the key leverage points within a problem, and we then use data to engineer solutions that best achieve the stated business goals.Our specific service offerings include modeling, credit policy, growth strategies, acquisition analytics, new channel development, yield management, account management strategies, NPV modeling, learning agendas, monitoring, and performance analysis.Over the past decade, we have become experts in building and deploying machine learning (ML) modeling for underwriting, marketing, account management, and collections. ML, when performed correctly, delivers step change performance improvements over logistic regression. Within underwriting, we can deliver a 10-20% reduction in credit losses using ML.
