Founded at Emory University, Enspire is a nonprofit startup that aims to pioneer the way millions of underprivileged students prepare for standardized exams by building the first free online test preparation program to deliver a world-class education and, as a result, significantly reducing the achievement gap in public education.Since 2008, we have been working on powering the robust framework for the online platform with proprietary technology, social collaboration networks, and game mechanics to accelerate the learning process and maximize student performance. Other features include realistic practice exams, personalized feedback and lesson plans, and engaging video tutorials. The discrepancy between scores of low and high-income students has significantly decreased the opportunities for lower income students to attend top tier colleges and has limited their chances of obtaining scholarships and educational grants. Enspire's vision is for standardized exams to measure student performance independent of socioeconomic status.
