Entrepreneurs Nepal is an NGO that was formed in 2014, as a group of young energetic change makers, believers, entrepreneurs, professionals, and academicians, from different fields such as banking, investment, insurance, etc.Under our Financial Literacy Initiative, we conduct various financial literacy programs targeting different groups and promote ‘Entrepreneurship through Financial Literacy'. FINTEACH is a signature program of Entrepreneurs Nepal, which aim to teach financial concepts to the students of class 6 to 9, 11, 12 and get their families members involved.With the aim of addressing the existing financial literacy gap through a rigorous module, Entrepreneurs Nepal presents FINTEACH, an educational campaign. FINTEACH is designed as a practical oriented course delivery program. It is targeted directly towards young children of rural households of remittance backed families, who are potential migrant workers and their family members. It will also target teachers of local institute, local representatives, remittance receiving families and other local residents.FINTEACH while imparting financial education in rural areas will help Entrepreneurs Nepal to monitor the change and behavioral activities of the students, their families, as well as local residents.FINTEACH Fellowship is a tutoring model where the eligible and competent candidates are selected based on the fellow's ability to execute required roles. This fellowship implies the concept of learning by doing where in the process of teaching students, fellows themselves will learn about the importance of financial education and its effects on daily lives. After being selected, fellows will receive a training to ensure their ability of delivering the curriculum.Rather than traditional teaching and learning methods implemented in schools, FINTEACH comes with activity-based learning which will create awareness effectively and make the students able to understand the basic financial concepts.
