The Entrepreneurship Centre (EC) serves as a dialogue platform for students, doctoral students, entrepreneurs and the public. As part of the corporate governance department at the institute for marketing and corporate governance at the University of Bern, the entrepreneurship centre actively promotes entrepreneurship through different initiatives at the interface between science and business.Entrepreneurship is multifaceted and so are the individual (young) entrepreneurs. These personalities are united by the desire to make the best possible use of their talent and resources. At the same time, they differ in their success to put this into practice in their specific environment. We understand this environment as a universal ecosystem in which we, as tertiary educational institutions and public institutions, exert influence. We would like to use our knowledge and our economic ties to promote entrepreneurship in the field of continuing education and outreach by providing different courses.In the field of research, we focus on current issues, which are relevant to entrepreneurship and which shape the international scientific dialogue. Research results are not only published at conferences and in scientific publications, but are also directly incorporated into university teaching and practically orientated training.
