EnviroDesign1 was established in June 2006. The founder, Djohan Lawer, intended for this entity to provide opportunities to experience the architecture and the built environment from different perspectives - and to perceive it with renewed clarity and awareness.Djohan Lawer is a U.S. trained architect. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor respectively. During his course of studies, he specialized in Building Science and Energy + Environmental Management. He was privileged to be exposed to and trained under some of the most influential minds of his time.He has devoted over twenty years to date in academic pursuit and professional advancement in architecture. Prior to returning to Indonesia, he was licensed in the State of California and a LEED Accredited Professional.In addition to strong background in Sustainable Architecture and interdisciplinary coordination, he also brings years of practical experience from diverse projects and construction types to this firm, from pre-design all the way to project delivery.At EnviroDesign1, we believe we are the catalyst for change.
