Founded in 2005, Epic Crystal was dedicated to developing and manufacturing scintillation crystals based in Shanghai, China, included the main CsI(TI), NaI(TI), BGO, LYSO(Ce) and GAGG(ce), within the areas of radiation detection, nuclear medical imaging, security inspection, high energy physics, geological exploration and other relevant field. We are able to provide scintillators in customized design, like the single crystals, linear or 2 dimensional array. We, at EPIC Crystal, are dedicating to serving our clients with CARE and PRIDE.The Efficient, Professional, Intelligent and Customer-oriented represented the meaning of EPIC, our team was composed of the technologists and entrepreneurs from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics of the Chinese Academy of Science, with over 30 years experience in scintillation crystals field. The Bridgman and Czochralski were the main technology here, we analyze the results in certain production cycles, try to find the reason and get the right solutions, we also handle the feedback from customers, based on these the upgrading and optimum process has increasingly been achieved to acquire larger dimension, higher performance and more cost effective crystals. And the further processing of scintillation crystals, like cutting, lathing, grinding, polishing and assembly of arrays are our major capability. Shape and dimension are customized for monolithic block. As for array assembly, in which the pixel size and pitch are depending on request, the reflector such as Titanium Dioxide(TiO2), Barium Sulfate(BaSO4), 3M Enhanced Specular Reflector(ESR), Retro-reflector etc are available.
