The perfect storm of a global pandemic, macro-economic events, local market conditions and a fundamental shift in consumer behaviour has left the legacy industry in a state of profound flux. Many strong businesses which, when facing any one of these threats, would have survived, have been left unable to continue. Others have seen their growth horizon shrink or even disappear. The Company has identified a number of potential targets across the sector. These range from wellness brands, restaurant and café groups, bakeries and emerging food and beverage concepts. The Company's strategy will be a mix of full acquisitions and staggered investments.
