Episona is an epigenetic data company focused on improving reproductive health outcomes. Episona’s first product is Seed, an epigenetic male infertility test focused on decreasing cost and time to pregnancy for those seeking fertility care. We think epigenetics is the common thread between diseases as diverse as male infertility, prostate cancer, and autism. We study and measure these impermanent changes to DNA to determine how they affect our health and, potentially, the health of our offspring. Our goal is to provide useful information about your personal health while building a community that grows our collective understanding of how behaviors, environmental exposures, and aging can alter how our DNA works. We seek to understand how these changes can be inherited across generations. Episona was founded in 2013, and the company is advised by a group of renowned experts in reproductive medicine, data science, and bioinformatics.
