Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organisation. Our mission is to represent international students, thus provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students. ESN constitutes the largest interdisciplinary associations in all Europe, founded in 1989 to support and develop student exchanges. It operates on three levels: local, national, and international. We are present in more than 1000 Higher Education Institutions from 42 countries. The network is constantly developing and expanding. We have around 15,000 active members that are in many sections supported by so-called buddies mainly taking care of international students. Thus, ESN involves around 40,000 young people offering its services to around 350,000 international students every year. ESN Castellón became part of ESN International (AISBL) and ESN Spain in 2016. Despite being a young section, we have achieved several goals within the network, receiving more than 250 international students per year.
