Erik's unique style of photography captures his love of people, travel, nature, landscapes, and finding the inner beauty that exists in everyday life. In November 2008, Erik photographed the ever-popular Glen Ellyn Holiday Walk and created a composite panoramic image which received wide acclaim in Glen Ellyn. The image was published in the Nov 2009 issue of West Suburban Living magazine.Much of his artwork is displayed throughout Glen Ellyn such as Cab's Wine Bar Bistro, Skywriter, Tap House, and Renaissance Art Studio. Four canvas and two panoramic prints were recently installed in the Galligan Boardroom of the Civic Center. His photography is also installed at the Chase Corporate office in downtown Chicago.Erik has traveled the country coast to coast, typically with a camera close at hand. He has photographed places including Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon, Sunset Crater, Sedona Arizona, Michigan shoreline, Nantucket Island, Washington D.C., Door County, Los Cabos and Pueto Vallarta, Mexico. Chicago is a favorite photographic subject as its hard glass, metal and concreate textures contrast with soft water, sky and other natural elements. Chicago Cubs star Derrick Lee signed several panoramic prints of Wrigley Field which depict the at bat before he hit a grand slam, and kept one for himself.Erik is always seeking exhibition opportunities.
