Erika is a photographic storyteller. Her technique is non-traditional with a modern flair. Her images invite people to see the captured moods and emotions of her subjects. Her photographs will tell the stories to future generations.She works with natural light and her style is simple and casual with little direction to her subjects. She is crazy about color and finds beauty in old doors, rustic fences, and the beauty of mother nature.She likes to give her subjects the freedom and space to be themselves. She captures images that will make her clients smile and remember those little details so easily forgotten. She has a playful nature which helps her subjects be spontaneous, joyful, and natural.Erika's first experience in photography began in New York City as a commercial photographer specializing in fashion and still life product photography. It was then that she made a connection between photography and storytelling. She began her own photographic diary of pictures.Her journey into motherhood then gave her an appreciation for just how quickly time passes and how darned important every single moment is. She began documenting her own daughter and fell in love with using her fine art background and transitioning it into lifestyle photography. With education, experience and a whole lot of passion, Erika Dehlic Photography was formed.Erika resides in the Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Chris, and her daughter, Katelyn.
