ES American School, founded in 1999, is a truly international school. Students graduate with an American High School Diploma and attend top universities in the US and across the world. Our Elementary School is an IB World School offering the PYP programme. Our Middle School has an outstanding enrichment program. Our High School also includes a rich AP program. Located in Barcelona, Spain we offer grades 1 to 12. All students receive individual attention, close academic guidance and personal counseling, in order to ensure both the acquisition of academic excellence and the development of individual talents. Students follow an American academic program, but also benefit from the multitude of cultures represented by their fellow students. ES American School has two campuses: one in Barcelona, Spain; and another in Naples, Florida. Both are located within the world-class facilities of the Emilio Sánchez Academy, with an emphasis on intensive tennis training and physical conditioning. Sports are an essential part of the curriculum. The education of a student-athlete is not only based on technical, tactical, mental and physical training, but also includes a solid academic and social foundation.We are accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA-CESS). We are also recognized in Spain as a Centro Extranjero (foreign school) by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Spanish Ministry of Education. Our school is a member of the Mediterranean Association of International Schools (MAIS) and the Barcelona International Schools Association (BISA).
