Escape For Fun is a live, interactive and challenging escape room where you and up to 10 total team-members are "locked" in a room and have to work together to find clues, solve puzzles and decipher codes as you race against the clock to either escape the room or complete the mission. Escape For Fun, located in downtown Wheaton, currently has two different escape rooms. In The Chamber, you are trapped in a medieval chamber where your team must unshackle a magic sword and uncover the final clue to escape in 60 minutes. In Mission Critical, you and your group have been recruited by the FBI to scour a mad scientist's office, break into his lab and deactivate a bomb in 60 minutes. Both rooms immerse the players in their respective storylines and provide a unique and fun way to spend an hour with friends, family, co-workers, teammates or strangers! This type of experience is rather unique and contains elements of excitement, tension, challenge, competition, and adrenaline. The players in the room, whether part of a pre-organized group or total strangers, put their brain power together in an effort to work their way through the room to achieve the final goal. It is a great team-building exercise and fun way to hone problem-solving, communication and organizational skills. Corporations, school teachers, athletic teams and academic organizations have had a blast completing the rooms and forming further bonds within their groups.
