ESN Geneva is a member of ESN (Erasmus Student Network), the biggest student association in Europe. It is a network of non-profit associations, with more than 500 Higher Education Institutions in 37 countries. What we do:* Work in the interests of international students. * Improve the social and practical integration of international students. * Represent the needs and rights of international students at local, national and international level. * Provide useful information about exchange programs and life on a local level. * Motivate students to study abroad. * Reintegrate the incoming exchange students. * Contribute to the improvement and accessibility of student mobility. * Care about its members. * Highlight volunteerism.* Provide experience in varied fields, such as Event Management, Communications, Social Media, FundraisingThe motto of ESN is "Students helping students". Our work is not paid, we are all volunteers. Locally, ESN Geneva exists since 2007 and includes an average of 500 students per year, but many young professionals and interns at international organizations (UN, ILO, ITU, etc.) join our activities, which makes ESN Geneva a little different from other sections. The second characteristic of ESN Geneva is the cultural diversity of its committee. There have been as many as 30 different nationalities represented at once! This is typical of Geneva; open to the world and multicultural.
