ESN VSE Prague (formerly Buddy System) is a non-profit student organization which was established in 1998. It grows since then and now it has approximately 70 members. The main goal is to help international students who are coming to VSE (Prague University of Economics and Business).ESN VSE Prague organizes Buddy Program - a program, where every incoming student gets a czech Buddy who helps him with his stay in Prague. Moreover, ESN VSE Prague organizes lots of activities for the students - e.g. trips (to another czech cities...), sports activities (football, paintball...), social activities (cooking for homless, sustainability workshops...).In September 2002 Buddy System became an independent member of an international student organization Erasmus Student Network (www.esn.org) which operates in more than 40 countries across Europe at more than 540 higher instituions. Membership of our organization has brought us increase of credibility, improvement of offered services for Czech and foreign students. Last but not least benefit is the possibility of international cooperation. There is ESN Czech Republic within Czech Republic that gathers 19 Czech section of ESN International. ESN VSE Prague has entity of a civil association and it is registered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Czech Republic.
