Good friends Marilyn Krueger and Vicki Goode have managed to turn their long-time friendship into big business with their Indianapolis, Indiana retail store Especially Wicker LLC. The two ambitious women possess an entrepreneurial spirit that has helped them grow their wicker furniture business from just an idea 25 years ago into a popular shopping destination.In 2007 Especially Wicker moved up the street from its former location with the purchase of a 17,000 square foot building. Completely gutting the new building and transforming it into something special it boasts a dramatic double staircase and a casual, homey environment that has become its signature. The store product line has evolved to carry a large assortment of both indoor and outdoor products of many styles from wicker to aluminum, sling and fully upholstered quality pieces. A small handful of the manufacturers carried include Lloyd Flanders, Brown Jordan, Summer Classics, Woodard, Pride Family Brands, Classic Rattan and Vanguard. Approximately 90% of the stores business is custom orders. In 2010 a commercial division was incorporated as VM Contract Sales and Design LLC and WBE certification was obtained. Our residential and commercial divisions invite projects of both small and large scale. The country clubs, yachts, vacation homes and assisting with local one room indoor or outdoor projects that we do are all equally appealing to us. Customer service is a priority; we love our new and repeat clients!After 26+ wonderful years the owners made the decision to retire and to close their retail store.
