ESPFA Details
The ESPFA (English Semi-Professional Football Academy) is an overarching organisation of the NPL Football Academy (NPLFA), Southern League Football Academy (SLFA) and the Isthmian League Football Academy (ILFA).The NPL Football Academy was formed in 2014 in and became the first league wide education and football programme in the UK with the Northern Premier League.Due to its extensive growth and success, both the Southern League (started 2019) and the Isthmian League (starting 2020) signed up to create the ESPFA, encompassing the whole tier of the English football pyramid.Students aged between 16-18 #Study for a BTEC in Sport Level 3, #Train three/four days a week with a UEFA qualified coach and #Play in their respective league at the member clubs main stadium.With all league and cup games filmed and fantastic pathways in both football development and to higher education, the ESPFA is a unique education and football programme that is now national.
