ESPRi - Environmental Studies and Policy Research Institute Details
ESPRi is an initiative aimed at promoting research on the environment and the political aspects of sustainable development in Poland and Central-Eastern Europe. It attempts to provide a broad, social scientific perspective on environmental issues and global environmental governance. Additionally, the goal of ESPRi is to enhance regional and local activities towards Poland's sustainable development, as well as education at all levels.The initiative was launched in December 2009. In October 2010 it was institutionalized in the form of a foundation, established in Wroclaw, Poland.We encourage all scholars, especially those from Central and Eastern Europe, with an interest in the research areas of the Institute to collaborate with us. Paper submissions to the new ESPRi Working Paper Series are most welcome. We are also eager to cooperate with enviromental NGOs, academic institutions and think-tanks.
