Essential Oil Research Institute Details
Natural Essential Oil research Institute (EORI) at the University of Kashan, established in 1996 under the auspicious of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, aims at exploring phytochemistry, aromatic and medicinal herbs, and their derivatives, with priority over applied researches on essential oils and by-products, particularly rosewater and herbal distillates. Qamsar, an ancient city near Kashan, well known for its rose and herbal medicines over centuries, with a long history of their plantation and production, was chosen as the site of EORI. By giving a diverse technical help and services, we have already established good relations to local industry, successful to transfer innovative technologies, and ready to start any collaboration with global research and market enterprises.
