Purpose: The eSTAR Foundation is a technical foundation which provides service to various Thai institutions in the areas of statistics, data gathering, mapping, training and digital resources. These services are beneficial to the country because they help citizens make informed decisions; they help educate the populous and help improve the welfare of the nation by preserving written resources through digital media. Statistics eSTAR provides tools, experience and technology to help Thai institutions make informed decisions. In partnership with these intuitions we gather the data, produce reports, maps, and graphs. We also provide analysis to help interpret the data Training eSTAR provides tools and technology so students can receive education remotely and do not have to travel to a distant city. We also provide native English speakers to teach spoken English in remote parts of Thailand. Resources eSTAR develops digital libraries and eBooks so that printed books, magazine articles, training courses, music pictures and other documents can be archived electronically. We make them available on the Internet to gives millions of Thais the opportunity to use them. This also preserves these resources for use by future generations.
