Established in May 2020, Eta Le Rona is a registered non-profit organisation in South Africa. Born from the need to make tourism accessible and driven by the fundamental principles of social tourism, we facilitate domestic travel in South Africa for those who cannot afford to travel. As a first tourism initiative of its kind, we help people from: i. previously disadvantaged backgrounds, ii. vulnerable groups, and iii. low-income earners; to be able to enjoy travel and take part in the tourism industry through incentivised travel experiences. We aim to make it easier and affordable for you to travel in South Africa. Our Vision is to influence and build social tourism by providing travel experiences to people who can not afford to do so. We do this through the implementation of varied programs with our strategic partners in the tourism industry. We are a tourism NPO whose mission is to be the most reliable, innovative and socially responsible social tourism partner. We want to improve the previously disadvantaged individual's quality of life through affordable travel experiencesWe are an operational NPO, we plan and carry out travel activities on the ground through projects and initiatives to achieve our objectives. This requires a great deal of careful planning, communication, and local involvement for each project.
