Wepartner with trusted Ethiopian localcivil societyorganisations, toprovidesustainable support forpeople in Ethiopia who need it most at atime when it will make a realdifference. Through our 15implementationpartners across Ethiopia, weaim toimprove access to and qualityofmaternal healthcare and education, promote the rights of women and girls,and provide treatment and protect dignity for people with terminal illnesses, neglected tropical diseasesand people living with disabilities. Our partners' depth of localknowledge, combined withtechnical understanding, meanstheirprogrammesare responsiveto local culture and have strongcommunity engagement andownership. We commit to our partners with long-termrelationships that provide stability,promote staff retentionandembed positive change andlearning for our partners. We listen to them and are proud tosupport core costs, capacitybuilding and additionalemergency funds in times ofcrisis. Our model is based on trustedrelationshipsand strongcommunication. 100% of grants we receive reach our partners as we are able to cover our own costs. Through bi-annual monitoring andevaluationwe facilitate agilepartnerships,that meanprojectscan becontinuouslydeveloped, with flexiblefundingand re-allocation ofbudget when needed. Our vision is an Ethiopia where every person has access to a life of dignity. We aim to work ourselves out of a job by supporting our partners to build their capacity to access and manage future funding opportunities and reach more people on the ground. Alongside our long-term partnerships, we seek small or newly established civil society organisations in Ethiopia who have potential to grow and expand their impact.
