IE Business School and Applied Innovative Institute, in collaboration with Mobile World Capital Barcelona organize the second edition of the EU Mobile Challenge. It is the European mobile development contest that is going to happen previous the World competition. Europe adds itself to the challenge already begun by Asia, the United States and the Middle East. The winners of this competition will dispute the final at 4 Years From Now (4YFN), the startup event devoted to innovation in the mobile and digital ecosystem that it is part of Mobile World Congress 2016.The objective of the EU Mobile Challenge is to give the opportunity to young developers in making their ideas come true. These developers will be able to present their apps and games in front of a specialized audience, achieving visibility, fund and potential users. In addition to that, the competitors will count with the support of IE Business School, who will organize acceleration days for the young developers. The participants will have the chance to dedicate professionally to the Mobile app development, with a complete experience, learning and international networking. With the event, new talent will be seek in order to encourage the entrepreneurship and the innovation the market is demanding.14 European countries are invited to participate in this first edition: France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Scandinavia (Danmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden) Spain, Switzerland and UK.The application process will finish on November 30 at EUMobileChallenge.com.A local pre-selection will take place in each country or region, and 3 candidates of each country will compete at the final of the EU Mobile Challenge in Barcelona in mid-February. Afterwards, the 4YFN, an event for entrepreneurs, part of the Mobile World Congress 2016, will host the world final looking for the best young developer from all regions.
