The Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF – ERC) is ICYF (https://www.icyforum.org/) organ with its Headquarters in Baku and implements ICYF vision and mission in the countries enlisted under its mandate.Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (until 24 October 2018, named as Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation – ICYF-DC) was established in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan, in its Founding General Assembly held on 1-3 December 2004, with the participation of about 40 leading youth organizations representing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States as well as Muslim minorities worldwide. The Headquarters of ICYF is hosted by the Government of the Republic of Turkey in Istanbul since 3 September 2006.On 18 May, 2010 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan the Secretary General of the ICYF-DC at the sidelines of the 37th session of the ICFM Mr. Elshad Iskandarov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Elmar Mammadyarov signed an agreement about the establishment of the Eurasia Regional Center. According to the law numbered 1049-IIIQ, approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 22 June 2010, the Eurasia Regional Center with the diplomatic status and Headquarters in Baku, at present time implements the coordination youth organizations' activities in OIC member-states from Central Asia countries as well as youth representing Muslim minorities living in Central and Eastern Europe countries.The main aims of the initiative are:- To create youth umbrella organization- To coordinate the activities of youth organizations from the OIC countries- To implement international projects representing their interests at international and regional levels
