Since 1992, EFS provides back/middle-office solutions to banks and other financial institutions. Our clients are based in Europe: mostly in France and Italy, but also in the United Kingdom, Spain and Switzerland.Our third generation of our products, Spheres®, entirely designed and developed by our teams. leans on the most recent business standards (FpML, FIXML, ...) and technologies (SOA, Web Application, n-tiers, ...).Spheres® performs a specialized back-office management with regard to a large numbers of instruments on Capital Markets, for all categories of participants in organized markets (ETD) and over-the-counter (OTC):- Spheres manages the back office for both OTC and listed derivatives (ETD) within a unique system: one repository for all clients, instruments, underlying and quotations.- Spheres removes almost all reduntant back-office manual activites. Futures contracts are automatically created as well as the maturity dates, closing prices, risk data for initial margin calculation. Trades can be imported from the front office, the clearer or the exchange, throught standard connectors.- Spheres calculates the initial margins of all exchanges/clearing houses worldwide using the exact calculation method: PRISMA (Eurex), MAPS (ICE), SPAN V4 (Liffe), MEFF, OMX, OCC (CBOE), SPAN US (around 50 exchanges all over the world ), etc. - Spheres is a web application: you only need a URL and password and a web browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, ecc.). If useful, even your clients can connect to the application, revolutionizing the classic approach: the client may become active and have access to his own open position and statements.- Spheres manages regulatury issues (i.e. EMIR TR) - Spheres manages the clearing segregation and collateral according to EMIR guidelines.- Spheres manages OTC products: Interest Rate Derivatives (Swap, Cap/Floor, Swaption, etc.), FX Forward, FX Options (Barrier/Digital), REPO, Contract For Difference (CFD), etc.
