EUROCOB Details
EUROCOB is the European leader of corn cob processing with manufacturing around 30.000T of corn cob, shared in 3 factories, ISO 9001 and GMP B2 certified (2 in France & 1 in Hungary).Our production process involves separating the diverse components of the corn cob after successive milling and sieving operations. At the end of the process we obtain different sizes of granules / powder, ranging from 100 to 4.500 microns, adapted for very precise applications in various activities: Animal Health – Plant Protection: Technical carrier combining absorption, release, hardness and flowabilityThermoplastics: Original filler improving the density and the rigidity of the material Cosmetics: Biobased exfoliator bringing a gentle scrub → Smart PE beads alternativeSurface Treatment: Excellent biomedia appropriate for "soft" sanding, blasting and tribology finishing. Filtration: Filter improving for wastewaters, coolants clarification and sludge dewatering During the last years, EUROCOB is running a R&D program in order to evaluate the potential of corncob granules used in the several activities presented above. This approach allows us to have a better vision of certain industrial issues for helping our customers to solve them thanks to a biobased and original solution.
