Cruise Ship Entertainment- Cabaret Variety Shows for sophisticated, seasoned travelers- Classical Concerts for mixed audiences (for classical fans as well as the non-classically-experienced)2. Land-based touring and community concerts.- Solo Variety Concerts- Russian Folk/Gypsy programs featuring balalaika virtuosos and singersJon Persson has been doing frequent cruise ship cabaret show performances since the 1980's (as well as being a featured classical artist). He understands what sophisticated, upper-class cruise passengers appreciate, and relates well not only to North Americans, but with people from many parts of the world. The video features snippets from the solo show, and goes on to draw from five different types of ensemble configurations. Solo shows/concerts can be one-man, with charts for full orchestra, or with backing tracks, or even with the ship's classical string ensemble. The same goes for any of the ensemble formats.Audiences frequently express appreciation for the anecdotes and commentary that accompany the shows and concerts.Currently based in the USA, all of the ensembles are led by Jon Persson, who is featured on three different and very challenging instruments: 1. PIANO2. PIANO-ACCORDION3. RUSSIAN BAYAN (chromatic accordion)
