Since April 2013, Bike95 is a bike rental company managed by the homeless. The purposes of the project is to promote a green, healthy way of transportation while creating job opportunities for homeless people. Six homeless people have already been trained and hired for the maintenance and rental of bicycles. Through responsibilities and a feeling of accomplishment, the homeless people involved are given the opportunity to better themselves. The project is of the social cooperative Europe Consulting ONLUS, in partnership with the Italian State Railways and Philip Morris International and with the help of the cultural association Ciclonauti.
